Finding an Oasis for Lifestyle Portrait Photography
As I parked in Aunt Cindy’s driveway that morning, the most beautiful orange flowers greeted me! They were so bright against the background of the green bushes all around. Aunt Cindy always has such beautiful flowers and interesting plants. It makes the plant lady in me so excited to visit her. Most of all, I love her giving heart and hospitality as she offered her home and garden oasis. And we love Auntie Cindy!
Choosing Flattering Colors and Makeup
After marveling at the lush foliage, Audrianna greeted me with a hug. She was wearing a shade of burnt orange that was just beautiful for her skin tone and hair color. Choosing the right colors for your skin and hair can help you glow and look your best!

And speaking of hair and makeup, I always recommend professional makeup artists because of their attention to detail, and they are experts when choosing makeup for photography. I am so proud of Audrianna for how well she did her makeup. The level of attention she gave made her glow in the photos even more! In the past, I have spent way too much time cleaning up the little specks of eye makeup that can fall onto the undereye area. But Audrianna applied her makeup flawlessly!
The Fruit of the Garden Well Tended
With the morning sun shining through the trees, we got some glowing photos of our beautiful Audrianna. I love backyard sessions because it gives us a private space to explore, and my clients always feel more at ease. It is another way to feature my client and their hard work in their garden in lifestyle portrait photography. Audrianna was so much fun to work with, and I’m excited to see her create more with her makeup skills.
