This Anniversary Session Was A Dream, And The Sunset In Hawaii Is Like None Other!
We were at this couple’s beach session to celebrate their twelfth wedding anniversary! Join us while I share a little about the Kedishs and an abundance of photos from their portrait session.
An anniversary session in paradise
Because we are all stationed here for a short time, all I could think about was how much I will miss these two and their family. One challenge military families have, is that we eventually leave again. And we still have to go, even if it’s leaving paradise in Hawaii! Since they were moving away in a couple of days, I wanted to make a memory for them with an anniversary beach session. A photo session that could honor their marriage, and give them something to take with them as they move into the retirement season of their military family life.
Eric and Lisa were a dream to work with, and it helped ease my nerves to have my first solo shoot with friends like them. Because of our time together as neighbors, I got to know Lisa, and her beautiful family even more, and we had a blast photographing families all over Oahu!
Teaming Up with Them for Their Shoot
We chose golden hour, about two hours before sundown, to set the backdrop for their anniversary beach session. As a friend, I love watching how much they support each other as best they can. In the early days of her business, Lisa questioned opportunities that came to her. But without fail, Eric was there to encourage her to, “Go for it”! It is such a blessing to have someone in your corner when life gets challenging. These two work well together and are the best team, so it was fitting to have a romantic anniversary session at sunset. Hopefully, they get more opportunities to enjoy each other as they move on from military life!
Since they are so sweet with each other, it’s no wonder how they photograph well together. It was truly an anniversary love session!
Especially with all that fire and the view of paradise! I just love all the palm trees in the background, and the golden glowing sun on their faces.
